If you are as big a fan of Australian reds as I am, you should check
out the most recent issue of Wine Spectator. Australian wines are
the cover story this month and I think there are tastings of over 300
reds. Also, if you've ever wondered why wines from Australian can
be so much cheaper, I just read a blurb on my wine calendar that
explains part of it. An acre of vineyard land in Australia
averages about $15,000-25,000 American, while wine acreage in hot areas
like California can run $100,000-200,000 or more. Quite a
difference in land cost.
Finally getting a chance to check out Flickr, the new social software
built around images. Kinda cool, I like some of the
functionality. Makes it more than just an image gallery.
Anyway, if any of you have a Flickr account, please add me to your
contacts. My username is skills0 and you should also be able to
find me using my name.
this one seems to be making the rounds and I thought mine was funny, so..
